I have been going to Kristen Coor weekly for more than two months having her work on my fascia using the Barnes method. She is helping me make progress with my peripheral neuropathy, that has bothered me chronically for more than 10 years. She has helped me work on balance issues and treats the whole person not just the individual parts. I find her to be very professional and I feel safe with her being careful with covid protocols. I am making progress and know that I will continue doing so, as I work with her. She has my highest recommendation for someone needing specialized care.
I have a chronic inflammatory condition, and my muscles often feel tight and achy. Dr. Kristen Coor's technique of myofascial release has been miraculous in he.lping my body to let go of its tension, pain, and restrictions.
I am an MD, and I wish I had learned much more about myofascial release earlier in my career.
I send my patients to her for help that they're not getting elsewhere.
I consider Kristen's hands and skill to be just about magical!

About five years ago I began having shoulder pain which has increased over the past 6 months to a year. My shoulder felt stronger and there was less pain following my first session with Dr Coor. After our third session, I noticed I was brushing my hair with my right hand, something I haven´t done in quite a while because of lack of shoulder mobility. I feel the treatments and my individualized home program have and will continue to help me move better and feel better.

Kristen Coor is a superior professional. She relieved the pain in my shoulder muscle in two sessions. I highly recommend her.

I highly recommend Dr Kristen Coor, PT and the Barnes Myofascial Release she practices. I had 3 sessions with her during my 3 week vacation in Phoenix, on recommendation from my sister, who has also seen Kristen.
Kristen is the first person in the past six years that has given me hope that I can fully recover from the neuropathic pain in my right foot brought on by chemotherapy— without medications that other medical professionals prescribed for me, saying that was all they could do. Kristen spent time treating three surgical scars I have accumulated over many years (using Myofascial stretching, which elongates and releases the elasto-collagenous complex).
After my sessions with her the vise-like pain on the upper area of my foot is gone, my toes are less red and inflamed and my foot feels almost normal—without any medications. Now it’s a couple of months later. I am following up at home in Ohio with her self help instructions, which continues to help, and I plan to find a Myofascial therapist near my home for a couple more sessions in hopes of getting to 100% remission of my symptoms.
Thank you Dr. Coor.
As you know, I have had knee issues and am hoping to avoid further damage and future surgery. The myofascial treatments have been helping to give me relief. I plan to try skiing again and I feel hopeful that my knee will support me.
I can also see improvement in other areas you have started treating. My neck range of motion has increased and I have a decrease in the pain of my arthritic finger.
I am so glad that you introduced me to this science.
